We can help if you
Have little or no presentation experience
Have some limited presentation experience
Want to increase your confidence in presenting
Want to consolidate, hone and improve what you already do
Want to explore greater flexibility in your presentations
We can also help sales teams to gain a real competitive edge using simple
presentations that allow customers to dictate what they want
to know ...
but YOU stay in control.
We prefer to work with groups of 6 -
8 people where possible, although we can accommodate up to
10.
This ensures that each member gains maximum benefit
whilst feeling an integral and important part of what's
happening.
Training is delivered at a venue of your choice (at this time
we are unable to conduct training on our premises).
Each training course is tailored to customer needs
and specifications so will vary slightly: we don't use
a one-size-fits-all approach. You tell us what you want
and we'll do the rest.
Our courses usually last for one day.
All attendees receive full course notes, plus additional
hints, tips and reminders. They also receive free 6-month e-mail support for questions that arise
after their training.
Material from the following will be included (not necessarily in chronological order):
Who We Are Affects What We Do:
We're already part-way there: skills
& qualities we already possess & what we want to
improve
Core values: how
they affect our delivery
It's about us: what we bring to
the podium
Basic interpersonal skills: their
relevance & importance of
Unspoken communication: how we can use
this most effectively with our audience
First & lasting impressions: what
our audience sees &
remembers
Audience engagement: from the start to
the end
It's about our audience:
keeping their attention & making them feel important
Making it close-up & personal in a
large room
But not too personal: the dynamics of
presenting to small groups
Keep it moving: what we say by our
actions
The power of silence: emotional,
psychological & physiological impact on our audience
Being seen & heard: literally
& figuratively
On edge: using our nerves to the
advantage of all
What is confidence?
Important Practical & Material Components:
Subject: it's not the beginning
& the end, but it helps
Content: preparation & working
within constraints
Delivery: choice of methods for
material & audience
Materials: practical considerations
for effective & comprehensible delivery
Putting it all together: how we
construct & shape an audience grabbing presentation
Making notes: ourselves, audience,
others.
Before the day: important friends
Consider the room:
how shape, size, fittings & audience alter
acoustics & visuals
Be seen & be heard: practical
helps
On the day: pace, pauses &
dynamics
On the day: important final checks,
rehearsals, important friends & aide
memoires
On the day: maintaining focus,
being prepared, being confident
Handling audience response:
keeping them informed & on our side
Profits & losses: important
follow-up from the day
Risk letting your audience dictate your presentation: Something a Bit Different
The power of flexibility: a presentation
that meets the needs of all audiences
Take the risk: let your audience dictate
what they hear
Buying in: allow customers to feel
they're in control whilst you keep it
Time compression: using 650 slides
in 10 minutes
